Newly Acquired: Mint Bag, Wedge Sneakers, Wrap Bracelet
Did I already mention that I can’t wait until Spring? Granted, I love the winter because staying warm & cozy on the couch becomes top priority and gaining weight from the holidays has become a cultural norm. That being said, I couldn’t help myself when I found these two items on ASOS.com.
Mint is a great pastel color but I also consider it a neutral. Treat it like any grey item you have in your closet and you’ll see it that it’s complimentary to so many other colors. I love wearing mint with navy but will try to find some jewel-toned items to pair with this color. As for this mint bowler bag, I was sold on the gold rabbit but the other gold trimmings and the tassel on the zipper definitely “luxed” up this bargain find.
My two favorite types of shoes are sneakers and wedges. When Isabel Marant decided to combine the two, I must admit, I wanted a pair but the $660 price tag was a great deterrent. I’ve tried to resist this trend/fad but there are cuter, more affordable versions being released all the time so, I figured I should try a pair of these shoes that were designed for people like me. Found a pair of navy suede wedge sneakers with a girlie floral print on them and I actually bought them before they went on sale so now, being under $40, these are definitely a steal! I get almost 3 more inches of height without losing the casual look of sneakers. Win-win for me!

Warning: I love accessories: jewelry, shoes, handbags, sunglasses, watches, etc. Many future posts will include these types of items. Moving on, I got a simple wrap bracelet (also, before it was on sale) but I think the gold plate adds oomph and luxe to the black leather strap that would look rather plain without it. Great addition to my collection.
